Billings Kiwanis and Billings Senior High Key Club members enjoyed putting smiles on the faces of 15 children at the annual Salvation Army Dress-A-Child Program held Saturday, December 13, 8:15-9:30 AM at K-Mart. The purpose of the program is to help youngsters from low income families receive needed clothing.  Members were assigned to assist children in finding their cloths as indicated by their parent or guardians request list.  Each child was provided $100 credit to meet their needs.  This year The Salvation Army again served nearly 300 boys and girls.  

          Club provided $1,500 ($300 club budget, plus $1,200 from individual members).  Those providing leadership and/or funds included; Deborah Abbey, Brian Chouinard, Bill Clagg, Maury Colberg, Shelia Cole, Dan Miller, Mick Ohnstad, Robert Petersen, Dee Plew, Dave Rye, Bob Southern, Don Stanaway, Julie Thomason, Jim Thompson, Marlin Waylander and Leann Zahn.  Senior High Key Club provided two volunteers.  All club members had as much fun as the kids, with many receiving big hugs and smiles in gratitude, from both youth and parents.  Thanks to all.

LET'S BUILD A PARK!!! - 07/11/2015

The Billings Kiwanis, the Billings Park and Recreation Department, KaBOOM! and Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Montana have joined forces to rebuild the playground equipment at Trails End Park.   We need the support and assistance of the community in the form of volunteers and financial donations to meet our percentage obligations as well as feed and hydrate all volunteers for 3 days in August during build week.  We are excited to build Billings by beautifying one of the forgotten parks in the city!

The designs are in and we want you to weigh in on which to build visit and vote for one of the three designs that is your favorite.
